We recently announced that we’d secured funding from the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Fund.
We can now confirm that we’ve partnered with Rule of Threes Arts who are looking to form a group of passionate young people – aged 17-25 – to join them and artist Niki Colclough over six weeks this Spring.
They will explore what it means to connect with the environment in a new project, Modern Nature, culminating in a celebration over the Jubilee Weekend, designed and created by the group.
‘Modern Nature’ will focus on, and be based in, Rimrose Valley Country Park.
Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of creative activities to encourage them to interact with nature in a new and imaginative way. This could be anything from DJ sets beneath the stars to twilight walks and mocktails made from our foraged finds.

They’ll be learning skills like the Japanese technique of Forest Bathing, photography, sound recording, and more! Through weekly online and in-person workshops, they’ll explore how the planet can help care for us and how we need to do more to care for it.

This is perfect for any creative young’uns with a love of nature and Rimrose.
If this is YOU or someone you know, email hello@ruleofthrees.co.uk to say why you’d like to be involved.
